The Firm’S Characteristically Unglazed Matte “Biscuit” Stoneware Finish Was First Developed In A Spectrum Of Colors By Wedgwood Founder Josiah Wedgwood In The 1770S. However, The Pale Blue Hue Exhibited In These Pieces Was The Firm’S Most Popular Ever Produced, Earning Itself The Nickname “Wedgwood Blue.”
