He Successfully Captured The Attention Of The Dutch Court, Particularly Princess Wilhelmina, With His Meticulous Approach To Endearing Subjects. His Artistic Contributions Were So Great And His Work So Valued In The Netherlands That He Was Knighted At The Age Of 80.
