A Metal Tree Sap Extractor Is Attached To The Wooden Opera Handle And Neatly Tucked Inside The Shaft Of This Cane. Often Used Illegally By Poachers, These Syrup Extractor Canes Were Outlawed Because Trees Often Died After Being Pierced With The Extractors. Syrup Extractor Canes Remain A Rarity Today And Are Highly Collectible.
